The Globe and Mail has an interesting story today about a British neuroscientist who says he has found a way to induce an out-of-body experience. He makes people feel as if they are standing behind themselves, watching their own backs. They flinch when their virtual selves are threatened with violence. Pretty neat, has great implications for VR & debunking religious superstition.

Awesome blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Many thanks!

I’m not sure why but this site is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though!
